United Divas Creative Scholarship

United Divas will accept applications May 15, 2010 through June 15, 2010. The current 2010 award amount is $1000. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

The following is a step by step description of the application process:
Step 1:

Complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM by the deadline, which is June 15, 2010, midnight PST.
(Note: the application link above will redirect you to wufoo, our official online-application sponsor. They offer an affordable service to help regular non-programmer people, such as ourselves, make a powerful and SAFE online form that will keep all of your information secure.)

Step 2:
If you are selected for final review, you will receive an email request on or before July 1, 2010 to send an official transcript, two recommendation letters, and a copy of one of the approved financial summary forms.

PLEASE HAVE THESE DOCUMENTS PREPARED IN ADVANCE, BECAUSE THERE ARE LESS THAN  TWO WEEKS TO SEND THEM ONCE WE NOTIFY YOU, AND THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE DEADLINE. Thank you. All documents must be postmarked by July 12, 2010.

Information on the documents you need to prepare:

Official Transcripts

  • Undergraduates: A copy of your current academic record
  • Graduates: A copy of your undergraduate and current academic record

Recommendation Letters
Please include two referral letters from individuals who are qualified to evaluate your academic and leadership accomplishments, preferably on official letterhead. Please print and give the following recommendation overview to your two referrers. It includes a description of the scholarship and suggested focal points for your letter of recommendation. The referrer can mail the letter to the address provided with the recommendation overview. Be sure to follow up with both referrers before the application deadline to be sure both letters are mailed on time. If you prefer to mail your recommendation letters with your other documentation, ask your referrers to place the letter in an envelope with their signature overlapping the sealed envelope flap.

2010 Student Aid Report (SAR) or Institutional Student Information Report (ISIR)
One of the following documents must be provided:

  • Complete SAR Print Summary from the FAFSA web site
  • Student copy of the complete SAR
  • School’s complete ISIR

Please note that the SAR or ISIR must be for the 2009-2010 academic year and include the family’s adjusted gross income and the expected family contribution (EFC). Other documents that are missing any of these items are not acceptable.
