The State Department Federal Credit Union Scholarship
The 2010 Scholarship Competition has begun! The State Department Federal Credit Union Scholarship Competition is held annually from February through April. The Board of Directors approved a fund of $50,000 to be distributed among applicants selected by the Scholarship Committee. Past winners from previous years may apply.
NEW this year! SDFCU will be awarding an additional $5,000 to one (1) lucky winner for the Stephen K. Fischel Memorial Scholarship. Please see the Scholarship Application for more details on how to apply.
To qualify for the competition, you must:
- have your own account in good standing with SDFCU;
- be currently enrolled in a degree program and have completed 12 credit hours of coursework at an accredited college or university;
- have achieved a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. (cumulative on a 4.0 scale) and submit official cumulative transcripts(s); and
- submit all parts of the application and forms by the deadline.
