The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship is a merit-based program that helps students fulfill their dreams of a higher education. The scholarship is named for Gen and Kelly Tanabe, best-selling authors on education, whose generous donations fund this program.

INTERN – PROGRAM/MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR – The International Law Institute (ILI), an internationally renowned independent not-for-profit based in Washington DC, is seeking undergraduate, graduate or otherwise suitably qualified interns with an interest in international law, international economics or development issues. Internships are available on a rolling admission basis throughout the year.
Founded as part of Georgetown University in 1955, the ILI provides training and technical assistance to find practical solutions to the legal, economic and financial problems of developing countries. In 1983, ILI became an independent institute serving a constituency of over 15,000 international government officials, legal and business professionals and scholars from over 185 countries.
The intern will assist in the research, marketing and coordination of ILI seminars (including database research and maintenance), researching and interfacing with donor organizations and assisting in compiling new curricula.
This is an unpaid internship. Minimum of 20 hours per week. Candidates with computer and research skills and proficiency in one or more foreign languages are preferred, but not required. This is a great opportunity to interact with delegates from around the world, assist in international development and be able to audit selected seminars.

Inspired by Chuck Close’s philanthropic work in art and arts education, we will be awarding grants to tomorrow’s brilliant creators. We’ve assembled a distinguished 25 for 25 Advisory Board who will serve as a jury for the AOL Grant Program. The board will include Chuck Close, Andy Spade, Tim Armstrong as well as experts from an array of fields in art and journalism. We will announce the complete Advisory Board at the conclusion of the application process.
