Connie Henke Yarbro Excellence in Cancer Nursing Mentorship Award

Award: Recipient receives special recognition at the ONS annual Congress, press recognition through ONS Foundation, including, but not limited to, feature in ONS Foundation newsletter, feature on ONS Foundation web site, and press release sent to list of colleagues and work place provided by the winner. Recipients attending the ONS Congress will be invited to a special luncheon in their honor and be presented with this award at the ONS Foundation reception. Purpose: To recognize and support excellence in the mentorship of oncology nurses. The award is named for the first ONS Foundation President, Connie Henke Yarbro.

The Academic Competitiveness Grant was made available for the first time for the 2006-2007 school year for first-year college students who graduated from high school after January 1, 2006, and for second-year college students who graduated from high school after January 1, 2005. Teens Drive Smart Video Contest

Making a video from scratch sounds like a lot of work, right? Maybe, but you’ll be glad that you did it. The contest’s top video producer will receive a $25,000 college scholarship AND have the video shown on MTV’s Jumbotron in Times Square. Elizabeth Brown Grant to Interior Design Programs

The Texas Chapter, IFDA initiated the Elizabeth Brown Grant to Interior Design Programs to honor one of the chapter’s and IFDA Educational Foundation’s founding members and first President. Her philosophy has always been to encourage education and promote discernment of quality in products and design. The Zell Miller Scholarship is funded by the Georgia Lottery for Education and is administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission. The Scholarship is available only to degree-seeking undergraduate students who meet the definition of a Georgia Resident for HOPE Scholarship purposes.
