Garden Street Capital Fall 2010 Scholarship Award

Garden Street Capital-Allocation Strategies, LLC is seeking one highly-motivated professional-school* or graduate student to be the recipient of the firm’s Fall 2010 scholarship award of $300.
Interested candidates should first gain an understanding of our Philosophy and Process

We are seeking students who are pursuing career endeavors which are the result of a personal discovery of innate interests, natural talents and creative passions.  In addition, these endeavors should in some way serve to enhance the ideals and philosophies this firm was created to advance.

In an essay that will be at a length and depth of their choosing, Fall 2010 candidates are obliged to give a full consideration to the development of their professional objectives, and especially the intellectual and epistemic virtues, as outlined on the Process page, which have contributed to and shaped these objectives and aspirations.

Candidates should possess a keen perception of how their talents and abilities coalesce to form a unique franchise of personal value.  Candidates should also be able to demonstrate how they expect to leverage this franchise in yielding effective returns to the firm’s stated philosophies and principles.

Our scholarship recipients are considered to be lifetime partners of our firm, alongside of management and the investors who make this endeavor possible, and are an integral part of this firm’s ecosystem.  This ecosystem is identified and illustrated in The Garden Street Way.

Submission information can be found on the Prerequisities.

*For the purposes of this program, the term professional-school is considered to be an institution at the post-graduate level preparing students for a specific profession in Business, Journalism, Law, Medicine, Public Health, and/or Public Policy.  This list is inclusive of any professional training which adheres to the spirit of our Philosophy.
